Northeast Telehealth Resource Center (NETRC)

The Northeast Telehealth Resource Center (NETRC) has a mission to increase access to quality health care services for rural and medically underserved populations through telehealth. The program provides training, coaching, technical support, and consulting services to assist health care organizations, networks, and providers in implementing cost-effective telehealth programs.


In collaboration with the National Consortium of Telehealth Resource Centers, MCD Public Health, the University of Vermont Telemedicine Program, and the Regional Medical Center at Lubec, NETRC offers:

  • Short and long term technical assistance services
  • Educational materials for the telehealth workforce
  • Access to specialized tools/templates and telehealth experts willing to share their experiences
  • Monthly newsletter updates and other alerts on telehealth in the northeast
  • Support for collaboration that fosters a favorable environment for telehealth
  • Networking opportunities, including an online leadership forum and an annual regional conference promoting telehealth best practices

NETRC can help you:

  • Design needs assessments
  • Evaluate appropriate telehealth technologies
  • Conduct strategic or business planning
