Project Coordinator - Healthy Kids Healthy Futures

Do you have a passion for public health within Maine's younger population? Medical Care Development, Inc. (MCD), a nonprofit public health services organization is accepting applications for a Project Coordinator for the Nemours Children's Health System, Healthy Kids Healthy Future project to join our team! This position is full-time, 40 hours per week and will be located in Augusta, Maine. This position is eligible for MCD's benefit package.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing program support in implementation of the Nemours Healthy Kids Healthy Future Technical Assistance Program (HKHF TAP) to ensure that required deliverables meet project work plan goals and timelines.

This position will work to engage all HKHF TAP project partners and stakeholders, monitor performance and progress on deliverales, assist in preparing workplans and preparing reports. The Project Coordinator will collect and report all required data elements for HKHF TAP performance measures and local evaluation and assist in creating data collection and performance evaluation tools and systems. This position will monitor provider data submission for timeliness, accuracy and completeness including quality improvement. The Project Coordinator will work collaboratively with partners to ensure ongoing sustainability of programs and processes that support evidence-based approaches. This position will provide technical and administrative support including research, review, and revision of documents as needed to support the program.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:


* Bachelor's degree in health related field preferred or an equivalent of education and experience. (A combination of four (4) years of education, training, and/or experience in health, public health, or related field.) Master's level training in related field is a plus.

* Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated cultural competence are essential.

* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* Ability to engage team members and stakeholders.

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet required deadlines.

* Detailed knowledge of MS Office programs as well as other software necessary to perform the job.
