Project Coordinator – Telehealth

Do you have a passion for healthcare quality improvement? Do you want to help transform rural healthcare and public health through digital technologies and telehealth? Medical Care Development, Inc. (MCD), a non-profit, global public health services organization, is accepting applications for a public health professional to join our team and serve as the Project Coordinator - Telehealth. This position will be based at our Augusta, Maine office, but remote work options will be considered. The Project Coordinator - Telehealth position is a full-time, 40 hour per week position that is eligible for MCD’s benefit package.

The Project Coordinator - Telehealth will support:
• The Collaborative for Advancing Rural Excellence and Equity to improve access to eLearning programs and professional development resources for rural health care professionals
• The Northeast Telehealth Resource Center that aims to improve rural consumer access to health care through telecommunications technologies

This position will also support other telehealth program development initiatives with a focus on serving New England and New York. Job duties will include, but are not limited to:

Specific Duties for Collaborative for Advancing Rural Excellence and Equity Program:
• Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Collaborative, including responding to emails, returning phone calls, answering incoming calls to support key stakeholders, spoke sites, partners, and subject matter experts
• Facilitates meetings, including project Committees and Advisory groups, with Collaborative partners and stakeholders, assists in agenda-setting, scheduling and managing meetings, and documenting and publishing meeting minutes
• Completes Project ECHO® Immersion training and additional training as requested
• Manages and maintains an online eLearning resource portal to facilitate resource distribution to spoke sites and assists in developing eLearning training modules and related content
• Assists in the development and execution of an evaluation plan, including developing and deploying assessment tools and surveys as needed
• Supports delivery of project trainings and resources, including attending Project ECHO® sessions as needed to provide administrative and technical support

Specific Duties for Telehealth Resource Center Projects:
• Assists with the day-to-day operations of the Telehealth Resource Center program, including responding to technical assistance requests including: emails, returning/answering phone calls
• Facilitates meetings and interviews to support work plan deliverables, including meetings with regional partners, consultants, and subject matter experts
• Coordinates online eLearning training portals, including portal design/user experience and content development in collaboration with regional partners and consultants
• Supports developing educational fact sheets, newsletters, and other promotional materials

Specific Duties for other Telehealth Program Development:
• Supports business development initiatives for telehealth-related projects under the direction of the Senior Program Manager, including support of grant writing such as drafting narrative language, needs assessments, and other materials

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in health related field, including public health is required. (A combination of four (4) years of education, training, and/or experience in health, public health, or related field.)
• Master’s level training in related field is preferred.
• Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills and cultural competence are essential.
• Detailed knowledge of all current Microsoft Office software programs, as well as videoconferencing platforms, and any other software programs necessary to perform the job.
• Possesses strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Meeting facilitation experience
• Program evaluation experience
• Experience and knowledge in healthcare or public health
• Experience developing educational resources
