Senior Manager – Case Investigation (COVID Response)

Do you have a passion for public health in Maine? Do you have management experience? Medical Care Development, Inc. (MCD), a non-profit, public health services organization, is accepting applications for a public health professional to join our team and serve as a Senior Manager – Case Investigation working with the State of Maine CDC COVID Response Program (The Department). This position will lead the COVID Response team and supervise coordinators for the case investigation, outbreak, and triage teams. This full-time 40-hour per week position will be housed at the Maine CDC office in Augusta. This is a one-year grant-funded project. This position is eligible for MCD’s benefit package.

Essential Job Functions:
• Manage federal grant deliverables.
• Provide supervision and guidance to the Coordinator positions in the Case Investigation team

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

A Master’s degree in Epidemiology or closely related field or a Bachelor’s degree in Epidemiology or closely related field and four (4) years professional experience in epidemiology. Equivalent related experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis. This position also requires two (2) years of supervisory experience, as well as computer skills including Microsoft Office.
