Project Coordinator - Telehealth

Are you interested in guiding the future of healthcare across the Northeastern United States? Do you enjoy networking and problem solving? Medical Care Development, Inc. (MCD), a non-profit public health services organization, is accepting applications for Project Coordinator to serve our telehealth projects. This exempt, full-time, 40 hour per week position is housed at MCD’s Augusta office and is eligible for MCD’s benefit package.

Telehealth has been growing rapidly over the past 10 years, but is now an essential tool for most health care providers during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the Project Coordinator for telehealth, you will have the opportunity to support projects that will leave a transformative impact on the health care delivery system, including the development of an eConsult Network in Maine and fostering the growth of hundreds of telehealth programs throughout New England, New York, and New Jersey through our Coronavirus Telehealth Resource Center. As a regional telehealth facilitator, you will be collaborating with a variety of health care leaders, including representatives from state governments, community health centers, academic medical centers, and others.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in health related field, including public health. (A combination of four (4) years of education, training, and/or experience in health, public health, or related field.) Master’s level training in related field is a plus.
• Experience and knowledge of technology and telehealth.
• Ability for occasional travel for meetings and conferences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and the flexibility and ability to manage time and multiple tasks with little supervision.
• Proficiency with all current Microsoft Office programs as well as any other software programs necessary to perform the job.
• Competencies among successful applicants are expected to be consistent with those identified by the Public Health Foundation Council on Linkages as Level II.
